ABIGAIL (JAPAN) BIOGRAPHY
ABIGAIL was formed in January of 1992 by Yasuyuki (bass / vocals), Youhei (drums) and Yasunori (guitar) being inspired by early Black / Thrash Metal bands like BATHORY, VENOM, SODOM, BULLDOZER, HELLHAMMER, NME etc. The first demo "Abigail Demo 1 '92" was released in July of 1992 and in August of the same year they played their first gig with SIGH.
In February of 1993, Youhei and Yasunori left the band. Nevertheless, second rehearsal/demo "Blasphemy Night" was released in March. In August of 1993, 7" EP "Descending from A Blackened Sky" was recorded by only Yasuyuki. This 500 limited 7" EP was released on H.S.B. Records in Holland and was sold out within 1994.
The story goes on and on about Abigail with countless splits, studio and live albums; all of which contributed to the cult that worships ABIGAIL to this day in 2025!
STALKER (NZ) BIOGRAPHY
2016 was the year of the Satanic Panic, the year New Zealand’s STALKER released their first demo, which would place them on the True Heavy Metal map for perpetual aeons.
Then came the “Shadow of the Sword” Single/Album in 2017, released by major label Napalm Records which only propelled them further into the wide world of Heavy Metal across the globe receiving recognition in all the right places earning them slots on European festivals which they then built a DIY tour around these slots.
Following 2019's globally critically acclaimed Powermad EP, the band's impatiently awaited second full-length album, Black Majik Terror, was released on October 30, 2020 via Napalm Records.
During the COVID Era, the STALKER name continued to grow and they were then invited on their first Australian tour in 2021 only to be rescheduled three times before it finally happened in June 2022, where they headlined both Slaughter In The Vanguard (Sydney) & Slaughter In The Bendi (Melbourne).
In 2022, Stalker released the 12’ Single Cranking Evil via Napalm Records which coincided with their tour of Australia and New Zealand with OSDM from USA Skeletal Remains featuring the tracks “Kneel and Worship” & “Ripped to Pieces” exposing an even more extreme side of the Kiwis homage to Speed and Black Metal.
In 2024 STALKER returned to Australia in support of the almighty Black n Roll Trio MIDNIGHT, in which they were then invited to Brasil to complete a massive tour in December 2024.
