The Last Martyr - 'The Nihilist' Single Launch

Heavy outfit The Last Martyr have gone from strength-to-strength since first unleashing their unique brand of cyber-pop metalcore. Their 2021 EP, ‘Purgatory;’ produced by Chis Lalic (Windwaker, Days Like These). was met with critical acclaim with NME declaring, “This five-track project is filled with gut-punch riffs, powerful vocals and propulsive blast beats,” and several tracks landing Triple J play and rotation.

2022 saw the release of single Sugar, a sweet and unhinged tune the four-piece took across the country on tour with hard rock heavyweights, Black Veil Brides (USA), nu-metal icons Sunk Loto and support shows with Dayseeker (USA), Paledusk (JPN), and more.  Since, The Last Martyr appeared twice at Unify, Halloween Hysteria Festival, BIGSOUND, Froth & Fury Fest, as well as played shows with Story Of The Year (USA) and Hanabie (JPN) before releasing ‘Burn It Down’ - a symbol of the new era about to unfold.

Phase two was initiated late-March in their digi-fueled anthem, ‘Antidote’ before sharing stages across the East Coast with Void of Vision and Days Like These. The Last Martyr will reveal their most chaotic and heaviest track to date - ‘The Nihilist’ - on 26 April and to celebrate, will hold gatherings in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
