Experience the Buzz: A Beekeeping Adventure!
Hosted by Jack from Bee One Third on behalf of City Parklands, spend a morning stepping into the fascinating world of honeybees where you’ll get up close and personal with these incredible pollinators. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, an aspiring beekeeper, or simply looking for a unique adventure, this hands-on experience will leave you buzzing with excitement.
You may even get a taste of the unique honey made from local native bees.
Accessibility and Safety
Please note that there may be some steps and inclines as you make your way to the beehives. Please wear a hat, sunscreen and bring a water bottle. A water station is located at The Hub.
For those with a bee allergy, you will be exposed to live bees and by-products so this workshop may not be suitable.

Venue
Entry is via The Hub into the Spectacle Garden.
Ticketed guests can take advantage of a complimentary hot drink (small dine in or regular take out) prior to the beekeeping experience at the Garden Room Café.
Getting to Roma Street Parkland is easy. Visitors are encouraged to travel to the event by walking, cycling or public transport. Visit the Translink website for more information. Limited metered parking is available on Parkland Boulevard. Paid parking is also available at College Close Car Park.
Refunds will only be issued if the event is cancelled by City Parklands Services.
