Festival of Stories - Storytelling through Yorta Yorta Weaving

Join local Yorta Yorta Elder Denise Morgan and friends for a special cultural weaving workshop at the beautiful Aquatic Reserve on the Saturday afternoon from 1.30pm - 2.30pm. Gather beneath the trees, slow down and connect with Country as Denise shares knowledge, stories and the art of weaving. This is a chance to learn, create and spend time together in a stunning natural setting, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Dhungala (Murray) River landscape. A hands-on experience of culture, creativity and connection, and a beautiful way to experience storytelling through the making and sharing of something by hand. No experience required.
