Lara Travis writes songs of unconventional beauty. Drawing on her background as an art writer, curator, historian and showgirl, Travis weaves stories that are brutal, pretty and funny at once. They're tales of marginal lives. Their characters are imperfect, far-from-ideal, sometimes hapless, compromised and corrupt. Nevertheless, they’re looking at the stars. Hear Lara's new material, as well as songs from her recently released album, Pineapples, Greenbacks and Glitter in the Air.

Rhinestone cowboy Ben Mastwyk usually plays with his honky-tonk outfit The Millions. This time he'll be giving a special solo performance. Hear Ben’s new material, as well as favourites from his album Mornin Evenin, which was nominated for The Age’s award for Best Country Album in 2015.
