Beautiful Buildings 'Wheel of Time' EP Launch

Wheel Of Time, the new EP from Beautiful Buildings, stands as a wonderful testament to fruitful friendships. It encapsulates the warmth and positive energy of the band. Some of their best-loved songs have been lovingly brought to life by producer Tim Downey.

Although Beautiful Buildings are closing their doors, they do so amicably and wistfully. Tim (frontman of the band) is relocating to Adelaide, and this launch will be the last for Beautiful Buildings. A bittersweet ending, as it is both a celebration and a departure.

Recorded over two and a half years at Union Street Studio, Capel Sound Studios and Maplefield Sound with various members, the result is a labour of love and a work for everyone involved to be proud of. It includes the single ‘O Indigo’ (released in 2022) and four new tracks. Title song, ‘Wheel Of Time’ opens with melodic gusto and hooks the listener with just the right amount of folk rock nostalgia. The rootsy shuffle of ‘Dusty Dawn’ plays with the lighter side of the band’s sound and the EP closes out with the more melancholic, yet hopeful, ‘Autumn Blue’. 

The EP launch show at Bergy Bandroom is not to be missed! Joining Beautiful Buildings on the day will be Amarillo and Matt Glass – two great acts to get there early to check out. Doors open from 1:30pm with music kicking off from 2pm.
