LAHGO:
Sydney alt-rock band LAHGO return this May for CHXXX TO THE FRONT at the Botany View Hotel as part of Great Southern Nights, celebrating the release of their new single Puppet. The band channel fuzz-soaked guitars, sharp lyricism and unapologetic attitude into songs that sit somewhere between heartbreak, shifting power dynamics and tongue-in-cheek honesty. The name LAHGO is drawn from the Filipino word malaago, meaning “to flourish”, a fitting reflection of a band that has steadily grown a fiercely loyal following through the energy of their high energy-non stop live shows. Tracks including Bitter, S.O.M.D. and Changing caught the attention of triple j last year, while their EP 'No Love Lost, Right?' carried that momentum into packed rooms across Australia and a festival appearance at Party In The Paddock early this year. Now, they step into a new chapter with Puppet - louder, sharper and more self-assured, bringing the kind of live show where the front of the room quickly becomes the whole room, and strangers end up screaming the lyrics back together.

Kitty Of The Valley:
Based in Sydney/Eora, Kitty of the Valley are a femme-fronted band that make art-rock you can pretentiously show off to your friends: loud, emotional, and defiantly alive. The band are known for their raw intensity, cathartic live energy, and a sound that teeters between chaos and euphoria - they collide the best of your parents’ CD collection with something entirely new. In August 2025, they unveiled Second Nature, a six-track EP that cements their maximalist, heart-on-sleeve approach to modern art-rock. It’s music for dancing, feeling, and completely falling apart.

Hatchling:
Hatchling blends the raw emotion of folk, the cathartic energy of blues rock and the distinct lyrical flair of Western Americana. Her music is emotionally charged, often emerging from a confessional yet confrontational alter ego that culminates in a magnetic and commanding stage presence. Fresh off a sold-out launch for her debut album ‘Dress-Ups’, and receiving regular airplay on Triple J, Hatchling is quickly establishing herself as a compelling voice in Sydney’s alternative scene.
