Babchia open the night with heavy post-punk grooves, drawing elements from Unwound and Sonic Youth. Dark themes, vocals drenched in effects, guitars and grit.
The Cars That Ate Paris follow with their gothic soundscapes. Siouxsie and the Banshees style riffs with a more abrasive edge.
The Nova Fiends bring a slower, heavier take on post-punk. Spacemen 3 style progression and dynamics that build and bite.
Big Black Maria close the night drawing from post-rock, shoegaze, noise rock and doom. Guitar fuzz and synth driven grooves with influences ranging from Swans, Slint, Godflesh and Slowdive. Experimental, heavy and textural.”
