Celebrating the strength and diversity of Australia’s underground heavy scene, Metal United Down Under 2026 will once again deliver simultaneous events across multiple Aussie cities, showcasing a powerful lineup of emerging and established acts, spanning genres from traditional heavy metal and thrash to death metal, metalcore, and beyond.
Since its inception, Metal United Down Under has grown into a nationally recognized celebration of grassroots metal culture, built by the community, for the community. This year’s edition of MUDU promises bigger production, stronger lineups, and an electrifying atmosphere that brings together fans, bands, and industry supporters under one banner!
The 2026 edition of Metal United Down Under in Melbourne will be hosted at one of the cities strongest homes of heavy music, The Leadbeater Hotel.
