GIMMY & DRUID FLUIDS are heading out on a five date national co-headline tour with support from Royal Ratbags.
Kicking off in the Northern Rivers at the Bangalow A&I Hall celebrating the launch of GIMMY’s new 7 track EP Labour Of Love followed by a DRUID FLUIDS hometown show in Adelaide, with Melbourne , Sydney and Newcastle to follow suit.
GIMMY’s Labour of Love EP , the follow up release to her 2024 debut album Things Look Different Now, is a blended yet mixed bag of indie post-punk, with folk rooted songwriting at the core of it. The intensity and the unpredictable chaos of GIMMY’s live performance is the band’s commitment to authenticity.
This is the last chance to catch GIMMY before they head off to Europe/ UK on an extensive 21 date tour.
DRUID FLUIDS
Druid Fluids are an Adelaide-based psychedelic project led by songwriter and producer Jamie Andrew.
Blending psychedelic rock textures, classic progressive pop, jazz and experimental production, their songs evoke a depth of emotion that is
expressed but often not explained. They paint with colours reminiscent of Lennon and Floyd but the sum of these parts is fresh and compelling.
Their catalogue of original material, honours and evokes the most powerful tones of pop and rock song writing.
In live settings, Druid Fluids expand into a hypnotic visual and sonic experience, translating intricate studio work into transportive performances.
ROYAL RATBAGS
Hailing from the back blocks of Mullumbimby ( Northern Rivers) Royal Ratbags aka The Rats are a five piece 80’s influenced all female post punk outfit.
From the very first note of their super debut single Supermarket Woman, the industry has stood up and taken notice. Featured on RAGE , Triple J’s unearthed and a plethora of community radio stations across the country, the Australian music industry is celebrating the arrival of a new fem powered punk force ….and that is Royal Ratbags.
