Brian Horne is a highly regarded Melbourne‑based songwriter and frontman known for his compelling live performances. A long-time staple in Melbourne’s soul and R&B scene, Brian has made his way across Australia fronting many beloved bands since the 1980s, including The Sole Twisters, The Winkle Pickers, Spike, and The Low Riders. In his solo work, Brian has created countless reinterpretations of classic songs as well as original material that tells stories of a life lived here in Melbourne.

Having spent the last decade fronting R&B powerhouse The Lowriders, Brian returns with a brand-new act that blends the grit of Johnny Cash, the storytelling of Paul Kelly, and the wine-soaked ramblings of Tom Waits.

Seasoned and deeply connected in the local live music world for over four decades, Brian Horne continues to make a meaningful contribution to Melbourne’s music community, delivering performances that are meaningful, engaging, and memorable.
