Les Big Byrd (SWE) are taking a couple of nights off from their AUS/NZ tour with Brian Jonestown Massacre for an intimate show at Shotkickers.
Stockholm’s psychedelic heavyweights have spent the past decade refining their kraut‑driven, synth‑soaked sound across four albums, culminating in Diamonds, Rhinestones and Hard Rain (2024) — a sprawling, immersive record built on long-form grooves and shimmering atmospherics. Onstage they’re known for loud, hypnotic sets filled with extended jams and swirling visuals, earning spots at major European festivals and venues including Freak Valley, Fuzz Club Festival and beyond. Joining them will be high-energy Coburg krautrock/psych group Brown Spirits. The band recently performed at Meredith Music Festival and Melbourne International Jazz Festival, and they will also soon head to UK/Europe in May this year with performances booked for Freak Valley Festival and Denmark's Fuzztival Festival, plus a series of club shows in celebration of some looming album releases on their UK label Soul Jazz Records.
