Gusto Gusto Tyrannosauroborus Album Launch
The last two years have seen Gusto Gusto storming stages including Glastonbury Festival (UK), Dark Mofo (TAS) and Port Fairy Folk Festival (VIC) and playing shows with Skerryvore (SCO), Snarky Puppy (US) and Sex On Toast.
Amidst a whirlwind year with over 50 shows they found time to record a 13 track genre crossing album, a raucous instrumental blend of violin, trumpet, clarinet and rocking rhythm section that traverses the worlds of funk, afrobeat, djent and celtic music.
Tyrannosauroborus is led by singles Sunday Scaries, Split Second, Astro 9 and Down Below.
Supported by Adelaide's own Bromham, a community of musicians whose passion for music, life and joyful silliness is infectious. They take influences from all over the world and create songs that tell stories about the people closest to them. Their live show is a raucous celebration that never fails to leave audiences feeling uplifted. Hailing from the Adelaide Hills, this big family is becoming well loved all around Australia from their numerous festival appearances at the likes of Womadelaide and Woodford Folk Festival. Come and find out why audiences are falling in love with this joyous bunch!
And Melbourne's finest Malcura: Fresh from their maiden tour of Europe, which saw the band perform 37 shows in 35 days, including performances at Glastonbury Festival and the Montreux Jazz Festival, Malcura have just released their new single The Aether, the first new release since their EP ‘Flamenco Metal’ in 2022. "The Aether" is a reflection of the new direction the band hopes to continue pursuing with new guitarist Jenna Campbell on board.
