Musewood
As the name suggests, Musewood means you’re in for lots of musing on lots of beautiful woody instruments. With its four members all song writers, the Musewood sound is an enticing mix of sweet chamber folk which is not afraid to push into more complex chords and dashes of cheekiness and protest too. Songs about staying strong, love, loss, coffee, and a couple of topical environmental songs for good measure. Songstress Visnja on Celtic harp is joined by Emma Horwood on soprano warbling, concert harp and violin.  Michael is the rhythm and lead guitarist in one, complemented by Ash on mandolin and piano chops.

After a successful debut in Fringe 2025, Musewood has played for enthusiastic audiences at historic churches in the hills, a winery, on a boat at the Maritime Museum and house concert settings.  This is their first gig at the Wheaty.

Harp2Harp
First set warm-up is Harp2Harp, being the harping chanteuses from Musewood in duet mode. With an original line up of songs written by Visnja and Emma, be prepared to swoon at gorgeous vocal harmonies and textures of two different harps weaving an intricate tapestry of chamber folk and ‘popera’ ambience. Harp2Harp has enjoyed a very busy few years of Fringe shows, concerts in lovely old churches and repeat bookings at residential aged care homes. Their originals Wheaty set reflects the influence of popular songs, traditional folk and classical music that’s made Harp2Harp such a hit, soothing and thrilling souls young and old.
