Huge events presents a stacked lineup of 4 adelaide bands featuring Hesh, Pennies, ShopKeeper and BugMeat.
HESH, the punk rock outfit born from the Adelaide music scene, will make you hold on to something, a handrail, the wall, or maybe even ya wallet! Matty ‘Danger’ Ranger fronts the band with raw, unapologetic energy, supported by the fast-paced musical stylings of Billy Burns (Drums), Jake Burgess (Bass), and Ben Walker (Guitar). Inspired by the early 80’s hardcore punk scene, HESH deliver an intense no-BS sound that’s built for sweat-soaked rooms and pure chaos. Short, sharp, and straight to the point, HESH aren’t here to polish things up or play it safe. This is punk the way it was meant to be, loud, confrontational, and impossible to ignore.
Pennies are a band all about doing something new. The 4 piece out of Adelaide bring a freshness to indie rock. Their willingness to experiment and take risks has led them to a wide range of sounds, but above all else the songs are built to sing and fill a room with punchy noise. It’s a balance of new age music but with a respect for the artists who came before and who they yearn to build on top of.
Shopkeeper are a local up-and-coming alt-rock jazz group of four 18-20 year olds of vastly different music tastes and styles. They combine to form a melting pot of original music ranging from pop, rock, jazz, grunge, emo and more!
