From City Centre The Showground is easy walking distance from Coffs Harbour city centre and the Bailey Centre directly opposite. The Bailey Centre is home to a pharmacist, petrol station, video rental store, a large sports store, a car wash among other things. There is a well-formed and popular walking track between the Showground, Botanical Gardens, the Promenade and onto the Park Beach. Travelling by Car Coffs Harbour is approximately halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. Most people access the area via the Pacific Highway, which has been substantially improved in the last few years. Driving time between Coffs Harbour and Sydney is between 6 1/2 hours and 7 hours depending on rest stops. Once in the city centre head southwest on Pacific Hwy toward Bray St for 3.4 kms (about 4 mins), and look out for the Showgrounds. Travelling by Train **Please check the following details before your journey** Countrylink's XPT service departs Sydney Central at 7:15am, 11:35am, and 4:24pm each day, arriving at Coffs Harbour Train Station at 5:07pm, 10:00pm and 2:21am respectively. Greyhound and McCafferty's buses depart Sydney for Urunga daily. Travelling by Air Coffs Harbour Airport is close to the CBD of Coffs Harbour. The Showground is approximately 6kms north of the airport. Onwards travel by taxi is available. * Qantas flies in and out 3 times each day. * Virgin Blue flies in and out of Coffs Harbour twice daily.
