Venue Information for Zhivago Nightclub, Adelaide, SA
Established in 2003, Zhivago remains to be one of the most frequented and cutting edge nightclubs in South Australia. Located in the heart of the city's West End, Zhivago caters to over 3000 people each weekend.
Having hosted the likes of Twilight's Robert Pattinson, Taylor Hawkins from Foo Fighters, Arj Barker, Lisa Mitchell, Hugh Sheridan, Spencer Matthews and Oliver Proudlock (Made in Chelsea), Angus Simpson, Anthony Mundine, Waylon Brothers, Midnight Juggernauts and Samantha Jade, just to name a few.
To celebrate Zhivago Nightclub's 10th year we enlisted one of Melbourne's most prominent and talented Street Artists, Makatron from the Everfresh Crew, to curate Zhivago's venue transformation.
Makatron brought together a phenomenal team of artists including Otis (NZ), Adnate (Melb), Magee (Bris) and Adelaide's renowned Street Artists Fredrock (Toy Soldiers Crew), Adrock (Cold Krush Gallery), Gary Seaman and Jason Fox. Inspired by our existing octagonal shaped bar (fun fact: the bar measures at half the length of an Olympic swimming pool) we themed the walls in gold and black hues to emulate that of a beehive giving new meaning to our industrious hive of activity for our late night revellers.
For our patrons that prefer a more intimate experience, we built a new boutique top shelf bar in the east end of the venue, carrying many rare spirits and top of the range Champagnes.
Our extensive drinks menu, striking street art, skilled bartenders and upbeat party tunes delivered by some of SA's most popular DJ's, is what sets Adelaide's favourite nightclub apart from the rest.
So put on your best threads, and strap yourself in for the wild ride that is the 'Zhivago Experience'. Friday nights "Hello", Saturday nights "High Heels", and Sunday Industry night is "Black Cherry".
