Kellie Lloyd plays a rare solo show to showcase songs from her recently released 6 track EP Fragile States. This solo and intimate show will be supported by the brilliant young up

comer Asha Jeffries. Kellie played bass for Asher's recording of her new single "Coburg" and Asha features in Kellie's music video "Nothing Remains". Kellie and Asher will play solo sets.

Kellie Lloyd – the bass-playing heartbeat of Brisbane’s beloved indie rock institution Screamfeeder for over 25 years – steps into the spotlight this August with a translucent six-track solo EP, appropriately titled Fragile States.

It is the first new solo material from Lloyd since her acclaimed second album Magnetic North, released in 2012, and collects material drawn from several different recording sessions between 2013–2015.

Lloyd describes Fragile States as “basically a collection of things recorded over the last couple of years that were never really going to be anything, until they came together.

“They were just random recording sessions. They all had a purpose, but there was never a thread. The piano songs were recorded as part of a university project at Gasworks; Darek Mudge produced them. They were a prelude to recordings I did with another band, A Savage God, with Alex Gillies, Geordie Stafford and Cam Smith.”

The results are a warm and beautiful collection of songs, by turns eerie, meditative and moody, which fans of Screamfeeder and Big Star’s 3rd alike should love.

Fragile States will be released worldwide digitally on 1 August and is available on CD distributed on Poison City,
