Distant Fingers and Andrew Tuttle will each be playing a set of more or less ambient music which will slowly and carefully evolve over the course of 30 minutes or so.

Distant Fingers is the work of Kyle Smith, a Brisbane-based electronic musician who produces album-length pieces combining samples, live instrumentation and MIDI inspired by The Necks, Brian Eno, The Caretaker/Leyland Kirby, Deaf Center, Steve Reich, Huerco S. and others.

Andrew Tuttle, based in Brisbane Australia, creates an instrumental sonic convergence of acoustic and electronic tones; performed on instrumentation including banjo, acoustic guitar, synthesiser and computer. Tuttle’s recordings and performances incorporate elements of abstract folk music and shimmering processed electronics. He has released two studio albums (Fantasy League, 2016, Someone Good/Room40; Slowcation, 2015, A Guide To Saints/Room40) and shared concert lineups in Australia and Europe with musicians including Matmos, Forest Swords, Julia Holter, Hauschka, Lawrence English, Deradoorian, Blank Realm, Mike Cooper and Daniel Bachman.
