Almost a year after the release of her extraordinary self-titled fourth album and it’s accompanying national tour, Jen Cloher has announced that she will bring her solo oeuvre on the road, performing alone in intimate settings across the country as well as the UK and Europe. In solo-mode Cloher is a master storyteller and a performer in the tradition of indie-folk’s greats. These shows will feature performances of sparse beauty, laying bare the elegance, simplicity and rawness of Cloher’s songwriting. They are a reminder that the multi-award-winner's recent albums have established her as one of the most important song-writing voices in the country.

Cloher has also announced that she will make available an exclusive solo EP features exquisite performances captured at Wilco’s famous Loft studios in Chicago and from within the decaying glory of New Jersey’s iconic Loew’s Theatre. These collectors items will only be available on this tour.

“Lyrical genius and lo-fi magic.” - The West Australian 4 1/2 stars

“Astonishingly candid…(she) tackles politics, equality and pride with frank intimacy” - The Observer (UK)
“a modern day Patti Smith whose brutally honest, politically charged lyrics mark her out as one of the most interesting and important artists of her day.” - The Independent (UK)
“Jen Cloher’s Regional Echo is the best Australian song of the year… a new touchstone in the way Australia feels, the way it remembers and the way it chooses what to value.” - Meanjin
