One of the country’s finest song men - Neil Murray- a founding member of the Warumpi Band and the man behind such classic songs as “My Island Home”, “Blackfella Whitefella”, and “Good light in Broome” will perform at the Marrickville Bowling Club on Friday March 31st. It has been sometime since Neil has performed in the Sydney region- but he should be a familiar name to those who remember the halcyon days of the 1990’s when he was a regular fixture at inner city venues with his then band The Rainmakers.

Murray has delivered a string of remarkable albums that have contributed handsomely to the nations contemporary music heritage. This was further endorsed when he was recently named the 2017 Port Fairy Folk Festival Artist of the year.

This is an 18+ event.
