One of the country’s finest song men - Neil Murray- a founding member of the Warumpi Band and the man behind such classic songs as “My Island Home”, “Blackfella Whitefella”, and “Good light in Broome” will perform at the Wheatsheaf on Saturday October 7th accompanied by renowned guitarist Damien Neil.

With more than three decades performing and recording behind him Neil Murray was made the 2017 Port Fairy Folk Festival Artist of the year. He has delivered a string of remarkable albums that have both garnered critical acclaim and contributed handsomely to the nations contemporary music heritage. His live shows are a captivating journey deep into Australian lands of rich stillness.

His most recent release is Hindsight” - a 2CD set of 32 selected tracks from his back catalogue.

 Neil Murray was an APRA song of the year recipient in 1995.
