Consisting of some of the cream of Roots & Blues players from SA, The Streamliners are a premier R&B band who have won countless awards and backed up many international artists such as Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Albert King, Charlie Musselwhite and Mud Morganfield at Byron Bay’s BLUESFEST.
Their latest release, Kicking Back the Blues, has won 2019 Best Blues Album by the SA ARBA Blues Awards and was also in the top 5 finalist for the international Memphis Blues USA Awards for best independent Roots & Blues release while also charting number 1 in the National Australian Blues Charts for 202
Their live shows are a mixture of soul, blues & roots music and are renowned for their fiery improvisational stage jams that go way beyond their studio albums. They have been compared to such artists as the Allman Brothers, Albert King, Grateful Dead & early Fleetwood Mac

Smashing stages worldwide, Aussie axeman Gwyn Ashton has reinvented himself as a one-man progressive alt. blues band and is now on his current solo electro tour.
In two hours Ashton takes us on an eclectic mesmerising musical journey of his own original material plus some choice covers; from acoustic roots, blues and world music to a set of electric hard-edged rockin’ blues, 60s-style fuzz garage rock and Brit-voiced psychedelia on an array of instruments, including his custom-made Italian Liutart signature model guitar.
With no backing tracks or set list Ashton spontaneously draws his set mostly from eight released studio albums. His lyrical song writing and musical dexterity on resonator and lap slide guitars mixed with frenetic electric slide, heavy bass lines, hardcore kick drum beats and lo-fi microphone vocals makes him one of the most unique contemporary artists on the scene today.
