Independent Magandjin-based promoting label GRAIN is celebrating their tenth anniversary in 2026 and teaming up with Open Season to bring back the iconic Against The Grain Festival, for the first time since 2018. 

Expect a specially curated full day of live music across multiple stages featuring artists from around Australia and the world, including: Stereolab, Pond, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, The Belair Lip Bombs, Protomartyr, Way Dynamic, Hatchie, Good Boy & many, many more.
Against The Grain Festival 2026 is a block party taking over the historic Clarence Corner in Woolloongabba, activating venues: The Princess Theatre, Brisbane Brewing Co, Echo & Bounce, Season Three, Can You Keep A Secret, Woolloongabba Art Gallery, C’est Bon plus an outdoor carpark stage.
One ticket gives you access to over 30 performances across multiple venues in a never-been-used-before precinct.
