The Princess Theatre is the oldest theatre on mainland Australia, and is listed on the Queensland Heritage Register. Constructed in 1888 in Annerley Road, Woolloongabba, the Princess Theatre is designed to an ornate Italianate style In recent years, the Princess Theatre has played host to numerous acts including The Whitlams and Evermore. Metro Central Community Church officially took over the building in February 2001.

Public transport information Public transport provides the best access to the Princess Theatre. The Mater Hill busway station is a stone’s throw away. Parking information Street parking is extremely limited around the Princess Theatre. Parking is the neigbouring Diana Plaza underground paid carpark may be available, but parking in the ground level Diana Plaza carpark is prohibited. Public transport is highly recommended.
